Where Heritage Comes Alive
Nestled within the Enkuuka grounds is a unique museum and mini zoo experience - open to all festival-goers on both 30th and 31st December. The museum showcases 600 years of Buganda's history, while the mini zoo features living representatives of the sacred clan totems. This is also part of the SME and trade fair zone on December 30th.

The complete lineage of all 36 Kabakas displayed chronologically with artefacts, portraits and royal regalia. Includes the original Mujaguzo drums.

A live UNESCO-certified demonstration of bark cloth making - one of Buganda's most iconic crafts. See master craftsmen at work and purchase authentic pieces.

Each of Buganda's 52 clans has a dedicated display - its totem, clan head, history and significance. An unparalleled reference on Kiganda social structure.

Gomesi, kanzu, and ceremonial royal dress from different eras of Buganda's history. Interactive dressing stations for visitors.

Mini Zoo - Clan Totems
A carefully curated collection of live animals representing Buganda's sacred clan totems. All animals are handled by professional conservationists.
SME
SME Innovation Hall
Part of the December 30th trade fair. Entrepreneurs, artisans and innovators showcase their products. The museum space becomes a marketplace for Kiganda-inspired business.

The Totem Animals
Each animal in the Enkuuka Mini Zoo represents a sacred Buganda clan totem. All are cared for by trained conservationists and are part of an educational wildlife experience.

On December 30th, the Enkuuka Museum is embedded within the SME & Trade Fair zone. Entrepreneurs exhibit alongside cultural displays - the best of Buganda's heritage and business innovation, side by side.
